Fermoie
“Fermoie’s aim is to capture the life, light and enjoyment of old woven textiles. We print traditionally with a light touch using pigments creating a subtle impression but with the depth of a woven fabric” - Tom Helme, Co-founder
Fermoie was founded in 2012, and is the realisation of a long held wish by Martin Ephson and Tom Helme (founders of the modern day Farrow & Ball) to create a fabric house, designing, creating colour and printing in house using the expertise they both bring.
All designs are hand drawn in their studio in Wiltshire, United Kingdom, and colours created using natural pigments. Complimenting the fabrics available are a wide range of cushions in 3 sizes, and pleated lampshades made with lighter cloths in 11 sizes. The fabric range today is over 30 patterns and 400 colourways.
